poets and palm readings.i have the truth  written on my fingers and toes.  i have five little truths  holding onto my palms  for dear life.   
and i don't feel bad about eating animal crackers,  but i often fgeel guilty about not feeling bad,  and then it goes on and on.  so i generally avoid animal crackers altogether.   
every time i see him a little piece of my cardboard  
heart gets bent because he's not my first love  or my last.   
i am often guilty of the things that i can't stand,  like lying and writing poetry with the word "love"  and calling wednesday hump day.  &nbs poets and palm readings.

lucy can't play anymore.her skin  was milky white against  
her pink dress  and the sun sparkled  off of her stawberry curls.   
hate me because i bathe in darker water.  and lie in blacker sheets.   
lucy wrote poetry on her arms  because she wanted to share it  with the world.  she wrote beautiful words  like ebullience and love.   
hate me because i play on a darker street.  and swim in an ocean of ink.   
she said playing pretend was all about  being someone better than you are.  lucy pretended she was a princess.  i pretended i was lucy.   
hate me lucy can't play anymore.

paralysis is a state of mind.my veins were cold and empty  like a highway tunnel.  but now they're filled  with words  pumping abcdefg through  an iv to my heart  through a hole in my arm.  and it's all your fault.  paralysis is a state of mind.   
because my specialty  has never been timing.  one month and i was cold  four months and i was free  five months and i was nothing  and now  ten months  and i am revolving  around an axis.  i am including pluto in my nine  and that meteor we saw  in my dream  which would make ten.   
i would like to be a bit o paralysis is a state of mind.

hello my name is           i specialize in nothing special  only the insignificant things like the  fact i need to lie next to you to  
feel that sweet,  tangible invincibility that you give off. or the  need to name our children ten years  early just so i can hold on to that feeling  of finding out i wasn't the only crazy one.  but to label these as 'insignificant' is a death wish,  so for now we'll label them as hand-me-down imaginings.

and i probably shouldn't, but i do and i have a modest mouse song stuck in my head i'm gonna dance all dance hall everyday i'm gonna dance all dance hall everyday and it's a terrible song for calming down and i just want to scream it's not my fault but it quite possibly is my fault but i don't want to think about it i just want to dance all dance hall everyday and forget about feeling things that i shouldn't because i've been told that it's a terrible terrible trap and i see rainspots from raindrops all over my shoes i just want to stop thinking and maybe become a vegetable for a few days that way people won't be offended when i can't speak when really my words are just failing me and i can't calm down and i can't slow my breathing and.

i'm gonna dance all dance hall every day.
